During my recent stay at West View for a gourmet getaway, I enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing environment that truly enhanced my culinary experience. The spacious barn room was not just immaculate but offered all essential comforts, like a microwave and fridge-perfect for an environmental scientist like me, who appreciates a little homey convenience when traveling. Each morning, the breakfast featured fresh, local ingredients, seamlessly reflecting New Zealand's commitment to sustainability. Dining in the charming ambiance of their restaurant was a highlight; the thoughtful hosts ensured a delightful atmosphere. While there's no local pub directly nearby, a few fabulous options are a short drive away. The only downside was the lack of a local pub, but considering the serene surroundings and engaging hosts, I found it a minor detail. I look forward to returning!
